Yet another dumb mistake in a Province headline...

What's happening in the world of Newspapers and Magazines?

Yet another dumb mistake in a Province headline...

Honestly... How do these people manage to keep their jobs?

In today's Province newspaper (Nov 25, 2013)... bottom of Page A6...
The headline reads:

"Medical pot facility airing on side of caution"

"Airing"... Really? What are they doing here? Hanging the pot facility out to dry? Taking it out into the air to breathe?

Good Grief...

Well, "The Glob & Male" about a week ago informed its readers that during the 2010 Olympics, snow was trucked to Cyprus. When I pointed this ha-ha out to the columnist, the reply was, "Oh, thanks. The entry has been corrected", which didn't help the print edition where I'd spotted it!

Or perhaps it's a play on words? Or does humour escape you these days.

John... Surely it was the headline writer's attempt at humour... See the final paragraph of the story... "And then there are the details of the building itself, which has several features to prevent odours from escaping and mould from growing on the walls, not to mention strict bio-security measures."
