Keep an eye on your newspaper subscription

What's happening in the world of Newspapers and Magazines?

Keep an eye on your newspaper subscription

Just as a warning.... two members of my family recently checked their bank accounts and discovered the company that runs the Vancouver Sun and Province had changed the automatic monthly withdrawl.
In one case, it more than doubled, when it shouldn't have for another 4 months and in the other, they were being charged for BOTH papers instead of the the one they received.
If it has happened to two subscriptions in one family (different last names), it has probably happened elsewhere.

People actually pay for newspapers?
Old model, and desperate for revenue, maybe?

I know people who get along just fine without computers! :computer:

(I have a Province subscription - nice to sit outside in the morning with a coffee and just browse)

Thanks for the heads up. My local Postmedia paper just turned our weekend subscription into a 7 day subscription for "Free". Will make sure it actually is!
