Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

I wonder how many times a day Dan Freeman wishes he'd stayed in Kelowna?

And what has happened to the once mighty CFAX?

I wonder if this is a sign of a format that has run its course, or are listeners getting fed-up with voice tracking.

Murray Brookshaw scores again.

An Array of swell music gadgets make the 1700th replay of Horse with No Name, and a guy trying to sound human is about as appealing as Herman Cain.

Fail.

The station, is b o r i n g.

I have heard some rumblings from within the radio and advertising community about what to expect from Rogers Vancouver follie next Thursday. Maybe Mr Freeman will be back on 104.9 before any of the Sonic peeps' make it past their three month probation period.

Rogers has never spoken truer words than telling people they wouldn't like what was replacing CFUN on 104.9.

What has happened to the once mighty CFAX?
It no longer is "the news authority"- there is an absence of CFAX news cars, and persons reporting on local events.
Mature, experienced and knowledgeable radio voices are more scarce than the earlier days. Al Ferraby and Steve Duffy are the exception.
The once vital open line shows are boring.

I'm betting Jason Manning is wishing he stayed in the Hat.

That certainly appears to be the case in their "supposed" home base of Chilliwack according to the BBM's released on Thursday.

CHILLIWACK
STAR-FM: 26.3
THE HAWK: 9.6
SONIC: 2.9
