Great stuff!
Howard Cosell using the term "black quarterback"!!! Whooooop! :rr: That was 1973 baby...wouldn't EVER hear that today.
Loretta Lynn sings the National Anthem with traditional "big hair".

A fine tribute tonight on Monday Night Football. It may be a terrible way to put it...but the Danderoo probably never knew what hit him when he died.......if I may suggest, if one has to leave us, it may be the best way to go. Sudden without lingering pain. I lost my mother the same way, so I speak from experience.

Monday Night Football was marvelous....my favourites.....humble Howard, Dandy Don and Frank Gifford. No matter who played, the trio made it great. Frank was so down tonight after hearing about Don's death. And, I'm sure, so were so many others.

I hope the old saying 'Everything happens in threes' does not apply.......we've lost Clancy Loranger and Don Meredith in the past 24 hours.....enough and then some. RIP gentlemen.
