Had a good chuckle this morning as NW's Phil Till and Mark Madryga were talking about con trails in the early morning sky. They've obviously both been targeted with harassing emails from the tin foil hat
chem trail conspiracy crew that frequent some boards, as they shared a good laugh about emails they have received and these being condensation trails not chem trails (if chem trails really do exist).

Vapour trails say that hot exhaust is mixing with cool air. The aircraft are poluting with carbon monoxide, as any land based vehicle does. In high aircraft traffic areas, there is plenty of polution.... it doesn't disappear, only blends with the atmosphere. The u.s. has thousands of flights every day, with tons of carbon monoxide being created. The major cities being the worst areas. Canada has its share of this polution too.

As for tin foil hats, there is some truth to having one, because it is a proven fact that a constant and increasing charge can cause various things to occur to the brain... as example the slurring of speech. Electro convulsive shock has been replaced by a lessor electrical charge to cure some forms of physical brain disease. Electrical paddles are placed on the patients head with a steady flow of low current etc.

There is now an experimental cure being done for cancer where iron oxide material is injected into a tumour, then an electrical field is created to cause the iron oxide to become a magnet, with the result of generating heat, which then kills off the cancer tumor. It has had limited human trials, but has been successful... it beats chemo therapy in my opinion. The idea of using poison to cure disease has always been an issue with me.

One more item that I have always wanted to point out... always take note of the hypocrite that condems someone smoking a cigarette, and then jumps into their gas guzzling SUV to polute far more than any cigarette would.

The burning of one lb of jet fuel creates one lb of water vapour as a byproduct of combustion.

At altitude, the extreme cold temeratures cause that water in a gasseous state to freeze immediately and become a solid through the process of deposition .... the resultant ice crystals are visible as contrails. These occur under varying conditions of humidity at altitude. If the air is relatively moist, contrails will be visible .... dry air will absorb the water immediately and no contrail is left behind the aircraft. With a nod to Shell Busey "It really is just that easy."

Nut cases have laid claim to "secret info" maintaining that aircraft are spraying a noxious chemical cocktail to accomplish anything from weather modification, to disease prevention, through establishment of complex geometric patterns to communicate with space vehicles, to the distribution of harmful chemicals to limit population growth ... and who knows what all.

Aviation professionals roll their eyes, and shake their heads at the mention of "Chemtrails" .... but then, those millions of people in the industry are all sworn to silence about their role in this nefarious project aren't they?

There are people that can carry a thought beyond reality with conspiracy theories, however there are genuine people that play scientist to see if what is claimed is true. See this video on using a cell phone to make popcorn pop.... some will then draw various conclusions from it.

Can a cell phone harm you ? we will all definately find out eventually. I don't believe that they do.

Mrs. Sparky had a friend who worked at one of the Victoria stations around Y2K. I remember her telling us about this whack job that kept showing up at the station with videos and printed material
about how Y2K was going to be the end of the world. This nutzoid lunatic made several visits a week with his propaganda. Finally the manager had him barred from the stations property. We all
survived Y2K. I guess the paranoid skitzo did too and has now likely moved onto chemtrails or something just as ridiculous.

The worst offenders are the religious fanatics that convince thousands to give up their property and/or their lives, because the end is coming/near... as in the last character that grabbed headlines. I suppose that these types never get seriously challanged because some legal beagle would be screeming about democracy and religious persecution. There is a line in an Eagles tune called Learn To Be Still... don't know what occured with the last one, he seems to have lost his media charm

They were spotted by a pilot doing weather modification and by a storm chaser in the area.
