World's oldest person dies at 114...

Postby Buckley » Mon Nov 08, 2010 1:10 am

This should be my favourite forum, I can't believe I hadn't used it yet!

Anyway, last week the world's oldest person died at the age of 114.

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2010/11/04/eugenie-blanchard-worlds-oldest-person-dies-at-114/?hpt=Sbin

"Blanchard [...] had lived in a nursing home for the past 30 years. She was blind and unable to speak for several years but was not on any medications"

There's what modern technology can do for you... allows you to squeeze a few extra years out of your lifespan even though you can't see or talk.

Someone get me another Double Down.

Ms Blanchard's final words reportedly were:
"The sad irony is, that I've always preferred older men, and now there aren't any".
"You don't know man! I was in radio man! I've seen things you wouldn't believe!"
