
In 1991, the District of Hudson's Hope obtained a license for CKHH-FM, on 106.1 MHz with 10 watts, as a rebroadcaster of CKNL Fort St. John.
In 2003, CFAN Miramichi (New Brunswick) did an AM to FM flip, to 99.3 MHz with 17,800 watts. The station had been paid by CHUM in 1973 to regain the CFUN call letters for CKVN Vancouver. CFAN began as CKMR in April 1949, switched to CFUN in 1970, and CFAN in 1973.
In 2005, CFCH-FM Chase (B.C.) was given authority by Industry Canada to begin testing on 103.5 MHz with 4.7 watts. The station was licensed to the local Lions Club, but was turned over to a local Radio Society setup for the purposes of managing the radio station.
