NOTES
The CRTC will be holding a hearing on May 12, 2010 to deal with several repeat offenders who have allegedly continued to breach the Broadcast Act despite earlier directives from the CRTC to clean up their act. The stations involved are CHSC 1220 St. Catharines, CKLN 88.1 Toronto, CFAR 590 Flin Flon, and the AVR Network (CKAV 106.5 Toronto, CKAV-2 106.3 Vancouver, CKAV-3 88.1 Calgary, CKAV-4 89.3 Edmonton, AND CKAV-9 95.7 Ottawa). Non-compliance of regulations within the Broadcast Act could possibly result in suspension or revocation of their licenses.
