Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

I never knew Tom Baird arranged Take Me In Your Arms. A crafty move by producer Harry Hinde as Tom was a jack of all trades at Motown and, I recall, was a key part of that company's spinoff Rare Earth Records. Tom cut his teeth in the Vancouver scene and melded with vocalist Howie Vickers and bassist Glenn Miller in The Classics (which later morphed into The Collectors and then Chilliwack). Tom seemed well set to rival David Foster, but died tragically in a boating accident. I think CKLG aired a lovingly produced tribute to Tom Baird to commemorate his achievements. Is it archived anywhere online?
