Funny how trumpets really make a simple song stand out. Johnny Cash proved it with Ring of Fire and the trick was still working here for the "Stamps". If memory serves they'd expanded from a trio to a five or six-piece group. I might be wrong, but think Rich Dodson had gone solo by this point. The original threesome of Rich, Ronnie King and Kim Berly have long since reunited and are working the retro circuit with so many of their '70s peers.
