This is just one of three Bryan Adams songs recorded by the great Sheffield soul man over several years. Two of them, like so many Adams covers, were co-writes with Jim Vallance.
Wonder if some ambitious record exec has ever licensed an entire collection of diverse Adams-Vallance tunes (some of them with additional collaborators) into a K-Tel type sampler? In addition to Cocker it could include a wide swath of artists such as Rod Stewart, Elkie Brooks, Loverboy, Prism....
What a team. So glad they patched up their differences and began working together after several years apart.
