Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Seeing the late Jack Richardson’s production credit on an RCA record might make a mid-70s program director think a new Guess Who single had landed. Said PD would be one fifth correct. Scrubbaloe Caine boasted former Guess Who bassist Jim Kale who also added vocals to a very talent laden band.

Henry Small handled most lead vocals and even a bit of fiddle when required. Paul Dean slayed on guitar. If those two names sound familiar, they should. Small later replaced Ron Tabak (RIP) in Prism and then sang on the Vancouver band’s biggest US hit Don’t Let Him Know. Dean later co-founded Streetheart before quickly moving on to Loverboy. Al Foreman, who co-wrote this song, tinkled the ivories for Scrubbaloe Caine. A short-lived band, chock full of talented players.
