Paul Carrack’s biggest hit as a solo artist...co-written by Canuck tunesmith Eddie Schwartz.
Known as “the man with the golden voice” in Great Britain, Carrack is arguably even better known for his mic-for-hire work with other bands like Ace (How Long), Squeeze (Tempted) and Mike & The Mechanics (The Living Years).
Prior to handing Don’t She’d A Tear to Carrack, Eddie Schwartz was previously best known for penning Hit Me With Your Best Shot for Pat Benatar. Over the years, he also had his own solo success in addition to composing for Joe Cocker, The Doobie Brothers and America...to name a few. Eddie has also given back to fellow Canadian artists by serving with the SOCAN performing rights organization.
