Today's Can-Con 45 is from 1974 ... Craig Ruhnke and "Sweet Feelin" ...

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Back in a time awash with country-folk popsters like Lobo, Craig Ruhnke threw a decent contender into the fray with Sweet Feelin’.

Too bad Craig entrusted it to United Aritists...a label so inept they couldn’t chart even one Gordon Lightfoot single on Billboard during his lengthy tenure!

Ironically, Gord hit gold in America after switching to Reprise, a label that briefly signed Craig Ruhnke before he (questionably) hopped over to UA.
