Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Most Canadian fans are wondering how the Barenaked Ladies will include—or keep at arm’s length—former co-vocalist Steven Page when all five members get inducted this spring into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame.

I just hope that Bruce Cockburn does the actual induction. Without Bruce, there never would have been Lovers In A Dangerous Time. Minus that song, would there have been an equally compelling composition for the BNLs to cover so magnificently on their debut independent release? Their interpretation of Lovers established them nationwide as a band destined to succeed.

Bruce’s original was great. The Ladies recast it into a transcendent masterpiece. With or without Bruce Cockburn, I hope the Barenaked Ladies—hopefully including Page—will perform it at the Junos to celebrate their Hall entrance.
