06/27/12 - Veteran news broadcaster Kerry Marshall has left his position at JACK CKLG-FM 96.9 Vancouver. He had held several news positions in the Vancouver market since 1973, most recently in a.m. drive at JACK.

I hope that it was under his own steam. Very clearly 2440's loss. Kerry is a stellar newsman and was an integral part of that show.

I wish him well in his future endeavours!!

2440 just lost a gem. Instead they are stuck with morons like Murray Brookshaw (*the worst person I have ever worked with - luckily only one of three I disliked in my entire career). Brookshaw is the genius running 104.9 into the ground.

Best of luck to Kerry. There is a class act. Best wishes - if he was fired because he was actually making a living wage, it just confirms my suspicions about the schmucks at 2440.

Pam Stevens - now THERE is another pro. I wish I had worked with 'ya Pam. I think you are a real talent - always been a HUGE fan.

I agree with Pam. Kerry was stellar. One of the best I've ever heard and had pleasure of working alongside.
Fired or retired, he's chillin, doesnt give a crap and probably golfing. Yer good people Kerry. Best of luck with future sh*t!
