Internet Archive has a three part air check of KLIF Dallas TX on the day President Kennedy was shot. listen here

https://archive.org/details/KennedyAssa ... mber221963

The total time is some three hours in duration from the time JFK lands at Love field onward.

I wrote Klif and asked if they would be doing any special programming to commemorate the day and here is the reply I received. from Tyler Cox Operations/Program Manager.

We operate two news/talk stations and both are heavily involved in the upcoming anniversary.

On KLIF and WBAP, both stations are airing a ten part series over the next two weeks, with reflections on 50 years ago with many people who were there. You will find these series starting Monday available as a podcast at both WBAP.com and KLIF.com. At those sites you will also have access to several lengthy interviews with significant participants.

On November 22nd, KLIF at Noon CT will broadcast live the ceremony that will be held at Dealy Plaza. WBAP will feature, again at WBAP.com, a full-day re-broadcast of WBAP's coverage of November 22, 1963, starting at 7:00am CT.

Below is the link to the KLIF page commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F Kennedy. The WBAP site has the same page posted. Both pages have lots of audio to listen to.

While searching the CBC Digital Archives on this subject, I found this item; A 40 minute news summary of the days events; including comments from Prime Minister Lester B Pearson as well as other Canadian political leaders. There are also reports from the United Nations in New York as well as from London England. The U.S. networks in this news summary are NBC and CBS.

Below is a link to a YouTube page with airchecks from all three U.S. networks. Some of the items run for an hour or more.

Late to the thread, but... the night of the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination I listened to a long feature broadcast about it on CBR 1010 which was very good, including interviews with the doctors that examined him, and other key people. It was an excellent progam.

CBR usually pounds into Western Washington nightly, sometimes louder than CBU.
