Former News1130 staffer and current West Vancouver Police Constable Jeff Palmer is recovering at home after suffering 3 heart attacks.
Jeff was participating in the Cops for Cancer ride when he went into full arrest. As he puts it "a bunch of CPR and some defibrillator got me restarted"
He went into full arrest again on the ambulance ride to Royal Columbian Hospital which required more CPR and defibs.
And if that wasn't enough, when he was having surgery to put in stents, he went into full arrest again.
Jeff tells me he hopes to be back to light work in 4-6 weeks and there is no reason that he can't return to full operational status down the road.
Best of luck my friend!
