Hello everyone!
Back home, everything is fine again.
Sunday, I was hit by the most terrific chest pain I'd ever felt.
My partner drove me to Emergency at St.Paul's (my hospital) and I was looked after immediately and transferred to Cardiac ICU.
They got rid of the pain which at first was thought to be a small heart attack but later turned out to be a drug reaction.
While there, a complete re-examination of my cardiac history was done and some meds were adjusted.
No medical procedure was deemed necessary nor is any anticipated in the future.
Earlier that same week, I had day surgery, again at St Paul's, to have a wrist fistula created for possible future kidney dialysis.
However, my kidney function is holding so that too is just a possibility at this point.
A transplant may also be in my future when it becomes necessary.
I am sorry I AGAIN missed Red's Luncheon because of medical problems.
I was certain I was going to make it this time but....
Hoping there were lots of pictures taken and congratulations to Red on having a book published about him.
Hope to see all of you at the Spring Luncheon.
