Jack-FM is history?

Postby Tom Jeffries » Fri May 26, 2017 12:42 pm

Ash Street is apparently doing what they do best - get rid of staff.

Apparently the entire air-staff have been gunned and the station will rebranded.

Is Jack, as a brand, dead?

What have you heard?

They just did a complete re-imaging, re-branding and refocus on the music. Is it possible the on-air staff wasn't right?

Here is my understanding, and if anybody has a problem with that, see: Laurence Krauss.
If we take all the mass and energy of contemporary radio's management and compare that to the attendant and equal dark matter and dark energy, the summed total is still ZERO!

I found more than anything else, the talk their presenters provided was a turn off and didn't work much for me. As listeners these days, there's lots of alternatives to switch to. Jack FM may very well run jockless for a few months this summer and probably execute a new format come Sept. for the next major ratings round.
