Both know not only sports but they also know radio and how to entertain and communicate with an audience. Add in news updates, traffic and weather from News 1130 and you've got a show that's worth tuning in to. This would be a nice change from what 1040 offers up in the morning.

Is he past his best before date or would there be any value in brining Dan Russell's Sports Talk back to the Vancouver airwaves in the evening?

Just thinking out loud.

Lee and Dan are buddies but hasn't LP been gone from the game for years?

Lee had a brief comeback when Dan bought his own airtime for a few months.

He is very active in twitter, picking lots of fights and being something of a twitter cop.

Powell-Vance would indeed be a good combo for the new station.

I wonder why Vance left Rogers back when she was the queen bee of Toronto sports? I doubt they will go down that road again. Then again some guys marry the same woman twice.

LOL, "golf on radio" or "beach volleyball on radio," though the attraction of those sports on radio would be severely diminished as those are primarily visual sports. ;)

How about Competitive Thumb Wars?

650 CISL
The remaining AM music station in Vancouver will be gone. That's a damn shame for us folks that drive old cars with an AM radio in the dash.
Have to find out how KIXI 880AM in Seattle can be received better !
