While most CanCon fans of a certain age think guitarist Kim Mitchell was the only singer in Max Webster...think again. It was keyboardist Terry Watkinson who penned and crooned this memorable hit. Even stranger, its lyrics were not by the band's usual wordsmith Pye Dubois.
I have hazy recollections of seeing Max Webster perform this on a variety show with Kim doing his six-string magic while wearing a woman's skirt. (A very chaste skirt, I might add, that wouldn't have looked out of place at a Baptist picnic.)
