Never got Adler's act.
Always sounded pompous to me.
He's no Drex either. (sarcasm mode on.)
What a slag heap BC's formerly greatest radio station has become.

That could actually be a good fit on the national stage. Much of what he runs on the present 'NW show is of national interest. And he does have a recurring cast of characters, somewhat like the Noory C2C show. Actually, I can only think of one at the moment. Warren Kinsella.

Perhaps Drex will return to the current Adler slot. Lynda Steele has come a long way in the afternoon slot.

The current Adler show is basically National (at least Western) as it runs in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. Perhaps it will be added in some Ontario markets.

No need to change the 7 - 10PM slot. They've already tried Drex in that slot and he failed miserably.

Changing lanes here, what was the point of NW playing Christmas music with their muddy gawdawful signal? It sounded like absolute shit.

And nothing quite says Christmas...like reruns of Getting Connected wafting From NW transmitters early Yuletide Night.

Couldn’t they have at least waited until Boxing Day?

AM 640 in Toronto has recently added Adler from 10P-1A Eastern.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
