Newcap Kamloops - Re-Branding River & NL

Postby KamloopsRadioDude » Wed Feb 14, 2018 12:16 am

River going back to heritage K97 monicker & NL adding TALK balk to lineup.

97.5 Hasn't changed yet but imminent - NL did first day of more talk format today. Shaking things up on all 3 formats since NEWCAP took over (and fired a bunch at that time as well)

Looks like a cold and grey day. Were the old logos and branding paraphernalia being hauled away in the dump truck dominating this photo?

The excitement about this move seems to be about the same, in the city, on the station and around this blog post. Talk about a non event. And didn't they just do a rebrand with the WOW thing? Who's idea was that?

Apparently, buffing a turd is a lost art.

You all are right.. The last re-branding of the River.. "80's..90's and WOW!" was horrible (and really not that long ago). This is definitely not any better and the energy level of the station is so darn low

I think they were at their peak playing the HOT AC.

Turd is right!

NL seems to be the stalwart winner though!
