Joe Easingwood celebrates 50 years on the air.

Easingwood said his most memorable guest spoke no English at all. When he was working for CJVI, he was interviewing naturalist David Hancock, who brought a gibbon monkey with him.

?The radio station had just spent a considerable amount of money refurbishing my talk show studio with new equipment, microphones and everything else,? he said. ?We had Hancock on the show and he always brought a small animal with him. The monkey, about five minutes into the interview, climbed up onto one of the microphone stands and peed on the brand-new $1,000 microphone.?

just call it another day in broadcasting....
