Wow--what an improvement. Lots of stories here to read. Almost like a newspaper site.

Seemed a bit slow to load :carrot:

Very busy and distracting site - I like mine better - warts and all :groovy:

I like the new NW website, but they have stories on there from October and the now finished federal election, which makes them seem behind the eight ball, a bit ? They need more current investigative stories, such as Lynda Steele's excellent report about an illegal Hong Kong immigration scam.

There is a proliferation of wire stories on this site. Everyone has wire stories, so what makes them stand out from the others. Right now, very little.

The News 1130 site has way more locally produced stories and more sports.

CKNW needs to give us more sports, more stuff on the Canucks, junior hockey, and local athletes. Otherwise, they run the risk of copycatting Roundhouse Radio and CBC.

The overall sound is more CBC, actually, than I have ever heard NW before.

I think that Lynda Steele's show has a lot of potential, actually,

What NW needs, if it wants to do sports, is a fresh sports voice, perhaps a talk show host, not previously heard from the past. So, forget about Dave Sheldon, Russell, etc. Maybe they could do a Strombolopolous and bring in a non sports person to do sports.

Perhaps that person currently works in tv? LOL Wouldn't that be ironic, if true. Then, they could even bring in TD can't trust as the sponsor !
