Tom Mark back in news full time!

Postby Russ_Byth » Sat Mar 25, 2017 2:54 pm

Very happy to report that my friend Tom Mark has been hired as FT morning news guy at Jimmy Pattison's 107.5 KISS FM (CKIZ) in Vernon, his home for the past two years. He starts Apr 3. :yahoo:

He's been working at the station in a fill-in capacity and is really stoked about jumping back into the news pool!

It's a homecoming of sorts for Tom, having spent many years as News Director at Pattison's CJOR.
Tom takes over for the retiring Ron Manz.

Atta boy Tom! It was only a matter of time before you could throw your saddle on a horse full-time. I wish you much success at your new home away from home. Try to stay ahead of the garden, you old green thumb.

Great to hear that Tom is back doing what he does best!

I've totally given up tuning in to NW for news since Tom and Terry Bell were wished well in their future endeavours.

Since their departure, the NW newsroom has been in free fall.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
