Anyone know what happened to Rock 101 music director and personality Derek Bolduc?

Derek was the program director at Hot FM in Thunder Bay.

He was the morning show host there as well.

Not sure where now.

He's morning guy at Magic 99.9 in Thunder Bay. Just started this week.

So does anyone know why he left BC? I looked up those stations in Thunder Bay and both are low power FM's. One has 10 watts and the other 37, hardly seems like a move someone would willingly make.

You sure it's not 10 thousand and 37 thousand? Hot and Magic have full coverage in the Thunder Bay market.

Besides when Corus Vancouver lets you go along with a pile of other people it's a bit pointless to stick around without a paycheque!

So Derek was given the heave-ho with a cast of others? It's true, it's damn true the stations really are 10 and 37 watts. Hard to believe.
