Ray did weekends at 97 Kiss FM in the early 90's. Also did voicing for KVOS TV and freelance commercial work.

And FYI his air name was Bill Edwards, not Ray Edwards.

I also know that Ray Collins also worked at CKXL in Calgary in the late 70's early 80's. When I was in Victoria over the summer I heard Ray Collins and it was good to hear an old voice from the past.

After XL he was PD at CHQR 82 - 84 and then spent some time on air at CFRN Edmonton before heading to Vancouver.

Ray (as bill edwards) was also at CISL for a short time doing weekends and fill-in in 1991-92. He was also their imaging voice, as well as the voice of Oldies Coast To coast. Also did a short stint on weekends at JR fM in 1997. What a voice!! It would be great to hear any Ray collins airchecks. Too bad the CKAY audio stream seems to be down most of the time.
