CFUN - First and Last Days at 1900 West 4th

A look back at various radio stations

CFUN - First and Last Days at 1900 West 4th

Hoping someone can enlighten me with the first and last days of operation at 1900 West 4th Avenue.

So far, it looks like January 1959 (but no date), to 1993.

Even though I was there for the move out of West 4th, I don't have a date-month-year confirmed at my fingertips...he said, sheepishly...

There was a full page ad in the Monday January 19, 1959 Province for CFUN with pics of the new building and the on air talent. They likely did the move on the January 17, 18 weekend.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.
