That is funny! Just as "Cars Cost Less in Wetaskiwin" could easily have become Imaging for Radio there, Lloydminster could also have used something brief that summed up the best way to run your life if you lived there:
  • shop in Alberta tax-free (before GST came along);
  • if you are under 25, live in Saskatchewan for cheap auto insurance;
  • if you are 25 or over, live in Alberta for lower income tax.
By the way, the inventor of low ball Wetaskiwin car prices just died about a week ago. Stan Reynolds was also the instigator of the amazing auto and farm machinery museum that the Alberta government runs there.
