I was going to lament the "fact" that the CHUM Chart site has yet to reappear despite repeated promises from the current management of CHUM. But here it is!

To get directly there: http://chumtribute.ca/topics/chum-charts/

Beggars can't be choosers, but I do hope that the old search index is still in the works. With it, you used to be able to search any song in the charts. The out of print "The CHUM Chart Book" provides much of that functionality, but you could do keyword searches on both the Song title and artist with the old web site.

My sincere congratulations to Doug Thompson for getting this on-line!

Doug Thompson has this to say:
chumtribute.ca is officially open. It contains hundreds of CHUM archive photos, every single personal CHUM chart, CHUM memorabilia and lots more.
It IS a work in progress and we'll be adding more photos, audio, etc. in the coming weeks, but for those of you who missed the CHUM website...this is the one for you now.

The current owners of CHUM have nothing to do with this.
It was done by Doug Thomson and the late Bob Laine with some financial support from the Waters Family.
Bell could give a crap about history.

The site has a lot of holes.

Sad, so many possibilities, and it is not exactly a killer.

I just love people who come on here and rip the work that others have taken the time to do.

Could you do it better? Did you try? No? Then STFU.
Houston, We're dealing with morons!.

It definitely is a work in progress.
Doug has tons of material and is asking for more.
He's also still busy as a producer of audio.
If you have any CHUM memorabilia, I'm sure he'd welcome scans of pictures, documents, etc., not already included on the site.

Looking for WENDY HOWARD. I'm Phyllis Kroeker who preceded Wendy as reporter at CHUM. We were best friends. Please tell Feb/Wendy I am looking for her and miss her? Thank you for any help. A few years ago I phoned colleagues Larry Green, Arnold Amber and Allison Smith, but they hadn't heard anything in years either.

Wendy was doing traffic when I started at CHUM in '72.
I think she left a year later and went to CBC.
I too have not heard from or of her for years.
She had one of the best voices on radio.
