"National Radio Week Gets Underway Today" reads the headline on a page in the Victoria Colonist of Oct. 28, 1951.

There is a half-page ad for CJVI, with photos of their staff. I'm not posting the photos.

"Discjockeyette?"

Let's try that one on some of the female program hosts today!

Mike, does that mean a sermonette is a female sermon?

Yours in grammar,
cArtie.

P.S.: One name that's absent from that list is Leo Ornest. I see he was doing a 5:45 p.m. sports commentary as of February, 1952, so I'm presuming he wasn't at 'VI the previous November.
