Radio Sticker Of The Day - July 16

Postby radiofan » Mon Jul 15, 2019 8:05 pm

From the RadioWest.ca archives and my collection of 20,000+ window and bumper stickers from radio stations around the world, a daily look back featuring stickers from stations across Canada that no longer exist due to a call letter or frequency change, rebranding or a move from AM to FM.

A 1995 sticker from 106.9 The Bear [CKQB} Ottawa. In 2009 the station became Virgin Radio and after a couple of years returned to it's BEAR identity. In 2014 the station became JUMP 106.9.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Any interest in selling this sticker? I would pay top dollar for it.

Also similar to 101.5 in Fort St. John and 102.3 Fort Nelson.

Still got the original vector files from the mid-2000s from Astral Media.

How do you post scans of the stickers to the board?
I was trying to figure that out in my original response.

We'll have to wait for radiofan's return for an answer to that question. He has a specific way that he wants it done.
