Top Dog - reading through the names, you haven't missed many! Here are my nominees:

Top talker: Rafe Mair
Top newsman: Hal Davis
top MOR jock: 'Frosty' Forst
top rock jock: 'Real Roy' Hennessy
top female broadcaster: Sarah Daniels
top sportsguy: Jim Robson
top generalist: Bill Phillips (DJ, voice-overs, news reader)
top icon: Red Robinson
top country jock: Elmer Tippe
nominate for largest contribution to west coast radio:

Tom Peacock for being one of the best GMs out there. Tom took a chance on two formats which contributed to the richness of Vancouver: country CKWX and C-JAZ one of which was successful & sadly, one was not.

may I add a few categories?

top EZ listening jock: Maurice Foisy
top world-beat jock: Bill Reiter
top campus/community jock: George Barrett (CFRO, CITR)
top GM: Tom Peacock
top PD: Frank Callaghan
top MD: John Runge
top urban jock: 'Crash' Kincade

nominee for top reggae guy on the internet - Mike Cherry

now a couple of points

Hal Davis was not a newsman - he read the nw 8am for 30 years - a tradition for a top dog

Webster by far the best talker with Burns a close second for different reasons and style.

On Peacock - one of the few GM's who can from a non sales job

Top generalist is Dave McCormick for doing country, rock, us radio, discumentary and generally unheralded as to his contributions

now for Sykes - he is a friend - I won't pull no punches.

John came from Montreal and spent about 5 years
at CFUN/CJOR - that doesn't qualify - most/all the people on my list are lifers.
