"Radiographies" interview with Tom has been done.
Now, if I can just find the time to edit it and the previous one with Neil Soper.
For me, it's that "silly season" time of the year when employers come out of the woodwork, wanting stuff done for after Labour Day launches in both Canada and the US.
I'm also taking a mini-vacation the last half of the week and long weekend.
Things should get back to normal by "hangover Tuesday."

Consulting is not in Jeffries future. He will be working in TV and new media. Radio, no. Nunca mas.

Probably just as well. I'd heard he'd gotten very bitter about things in the last few years and wasn't afraid of telling anyone what he thought about the business.
Maybe he'll find some 'inner satisfaction' in this new endeavour.

It has been my pleasure to have been acquainted with Tom Jeffries since his first shift on-air in Vancouver.....many, many years ago ... in a far, far away land.

Throughout, he has always gone into the studio and done his job to a high standard.

It has been, and remains ... a pleasure to be asssociated with him, and fortunate that he calls me one of this friends.

Enjoy the change Tom, we all wish you well.

Wow. I am shocked. First I read that Mike Cleaver has done one of his interviews with Tom, then I read that Tom is retiring from CKNW.

I could have sworn that someone from either Rogers or Pattison told me that Tom had passed away a couple of years ago. I remember
he was doing the Saturday and Sunday morning shows then suddenly he was gone.

Glad to hear you're still with us Tom. Enjoy your retirement and whatever it brings your way.

Does anyone know if the show will continue in its current format with a new host, or will CKNW bring in more syndicated programming?
