good article about the past.....

My Webpage

some of the article

You Know You're An Old D.J. When...

You remember first being hired by a GM who actually worked in radio before
becoming GM.

Radio stations were no place for kids.

You excitedly turn the radio up at the sound of "dead air" on the
competitor's station.

Sales guys wore Old Spice to cover the smell of liquor.

You were playing Elvis' number one hits... when he was alive.

Engineers could actually fix things without sending them back to the
manufacturer.

these above ones are still true for me except:

I wasn't hired by the GM, but the man knows his radio and says hi everyday in the halls! Plus, I figure, in a crunch, if I called in sick and they NEEDED a jovk to cover my new rock radio show, the GM could do it :D

I hate my competitors and hope to destroy them.

I wear the old Spice to cover last nights indescretions. (is that the correct word?)

The engineers fix everything like MacGyver! Duct tape if needs be.

still a great post to read top dog!
