Drive bys and drop ins are welcome!

Please give me a break on this - Due to a visit to my doctor and subsequent tests, I regret that I won't be able to attend tomorrow. The doc doesn't think it advisable for me to...so will abide by his wishes. I've had some serious head pain for a while, feeling like a thunderbolt hit me.....it lasts for a few seconds and then goes away. There's a possibility of a blockage and further tests are coming.

Have a great time - hoping I can be there for the next one = I'll miss you all.

Cheers

My thanks to Ted and anyone else who had a part in organizing today's RadioWest GTG... Enjoyed seeing some old friends... and meeting a few new ones. Lots of stories over a couple of pints. See you all next year. :-)

Sorry to disappoint Jack and John .. but there was no pics today! I figured Dan with show up with camera in hand, and he didn't make it due to transportation problems, so no camera.

It was great to welcome a couple of new faces this time around ... longtime CKNW Production Boss Paul Preston and former CKWX/CKLG Production Guy Jim Morrison.

A good chunk of the regular crew were present .. Russ Byth, Brian Forst, Campbell McCubbin, Steve Sanderson, John and Diane Kendrick plus Gord Lansdell from Vancouver Broadcasters and Brian Walks from Vancouver Radio Museum. Larry Morton (aka Firedog) brough along some sample pages from Brian Tarling's great new book Vancouver's Charted Songs. The book will be out in the next week or so, and we'll have lots more info on it here.

Thanks to everyone who came, let's plan another on a Sunday in early February (once Superbowl is over with).
