Bruce Williams Update

I've never met Bruce, but heard him of course. Bruce, glad to hear everything sounds positive post-op. A very speedy recovery is now in order! Best regards to a real pro!

Popped in to see Bruce tonight...looking and sounding great.

A lot of it has to do with attitude...he'll do just fine.

Glad to hear his recovery is going well. Knowing Bruce, the biggest challenge will be getting him to just take it easy and not go back to work until he's told he can!

I hung around town after work, saw Bruce, then joined a certain sales rep and a certain other copywriter at their usual table for the usual, and drank to Bruce's health.

He's very healthy now.

Just had a long chat with Bruce (you'd think he'd only speak in 60 second segments!). He's recovering at home now and sounds great! He thanks everyone for their kind words of support. There'll be another biopsy in a couple of weeks... just to make sure.... but the surgeons said they got it all, even though the tumour had grown from the size of a quarter in the past few weeks, to that of a golf ball when they took it out.
Bruce has an incredibly positive attitude and I'm certain will pull through this major event with flying colours. He told me he might check in here at some point to thank everyone personally.

Radiofan and I paid a visit to Bruce today and I'm happy to report his recovery is going great! He looks very well and he has bright eyes and a wet nose. (or was that the dog)
He's going to have to go thru some type of chemo because of the cancer, but right now he's looking at being back at work in another 4-5 weeks.
He's poked his head into RW and is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support. As he said "I didn't know I owed so many people money"
Bruce may jump online here at some point, but I'm not sure if his Commodore 64 has an 'enter' key.

Bruce is hoping to join us at the RadioWest.ca GTG next Sunday ... If's he's feeling up to it, he'll be there along with Gerry O'Day, Frosty and the other regulars.
