Happy Birthday Pat O'Day

Happy Birthday Pat O'Day

Happy 76th Birthday to Pat O'Day .. Here's Pat from 44 years ago in PM Drive at Seattle's KJR. The music is scoped, but the commercials are intact.

From November 28th 1966, here's Pat O'Day on KJR Seattle Channel 95.

Thanks to Red Robinson for sharing this piece of Pacific Northwest broadcasting history.

Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

My all time Radio hero - and a VERY nice man. Thanks to a friend, I got to meet Pat on a few occasions.

Class.

KJR will always be considered the best of the best.

Happy Birthday Mr. O'Day.

I, too, have to admire a guy who is even liked by (some of) those he fired.

The late Robert O. Smith used to tell people how Pat actually did him a favour by firing him because he got another job for better money. Within 5 minutes.
