Anyone have the last book, for comparison?

So much for the debut of all-news radio in Calgary. Ouch!

660 didn't really get their act together right away. And, it's only recently that I have seen some advertising. Their website isn't even complete.

I am hoping the best for them.

I am sure 660 will catch on. QR struggled for the first few years that it was News/Talk.

Once the old CFR listeners find a way to cope with life without the daily doses of Andy Kim, Anne Murray, The Stampeders, Gary & Dave and The Raes, things will be fine.

I am sure glad I put all those on my IPOD before the format change.

If worse comes to worse, I've got some old airchecks from the 1976 with all that stuff (OK, minus the Raes - but they've got Patsy Gallant and Charity Brown).

I wish 660 success, too. They'll get numbers with good local news and the ability to competently handle breaking stories (during ANY daypart).

ahhhh...a stash of 70's airchecks... time to share them with the folks cArtie!!

Patsy Gallant .. one of her "hits" or a Radio Shack Jingle?

Maybe time to start a thread on our most hated can-con songs..

The name "Andy Kim" immediately springs to mind.

And this "California 103" looks like it proved to be a bad idea.
