21st Century Fortune Cookies

It would appear that fortune cookies are finally catching up to the times:

Long-time supplier Wing's only took a decade to discover that putting 6-49 numbers on the back might bring in more business, so 15 years to discover new methods of communications isn't so bad.

Not quite sure about the above.

The Wing's with that logo, as best as I can remember, is a take-out-type restaurant in Toronto, and has nothing to do with the supplier, or the current chain of restaurants.

Interesting. I dug a little deeper and you can see the same logo (as my fortunes) here:

as Wing's Asian Sauces. I've seen their soy sauce single serving plastic packets since I moved here in 1975.

Just checking their Contacts page, I see their Western HQ is here in Edmonton, and they are even incorporated here under the name Wing’s Foods of Alberta Ltd. I've driven by that address countless times, but never noticed.

Today's fortune cookies were from a different place, evidently with an older batch:

This one makes me sound like an Consultant in Audio:

The company is right here in Edmonton and they don't even know that any subdivision built in the last 40 years does not have a lane! Plus, we never had Named Lanes, especially with names like Patience.
