IE7 doesn't work in all versions of Window's. It would be much better if you went to version 6 again... I don't recall the version of Windows that you are running.
If you have XP with Service Pack 2 the link below has the IE7 version for it.

If you have auto update turned on, then you probably have SP2 installed if your OS is XP.
Right click on MyComputer, select Properties, and see the tab for the OS version and Service Pack ID number.
You can also download and use Opera... the odds are that some things will not work in it either... this is the problem when someone only designs their site to use a Microsoft format.
