Shaw Wireless Delayed & 500 Laid Off

I missed it, but I just read that Shaw previously announced a delay in their planned entry into Wireless until 2012.

Which may or may not be related to their announcement today of plans to cut 500 staff. A warehouse in Langley and a call centre in Saskatoon are both gone, along with 140 staff in Calgary HQ. Edmonton lost 50.
