The fly has heard that 13 employees, understood to be production assistants and the like, have been let go from the Burnaby studios.
Seems strange that would happen with the promised 24 hour BC News channel approaching - unless that has been put on the back burner.

This does seem strange considering they plan on launching a 24 hour news channel makes me think its launch might be delayed.
