Jas Johal leaving Global BC

The fly was trying to dodge raindrops in Burnaby the other day. Got hit by one and took time to dry out at Global. As I was using a teeny tiny Q-tip to dry out my ear (lost the other one in a close call with a swatter), heard that long time reporter Jas Johal is leaving next month. Think he's going to work for a company that produces documentaries.
Perhaps like many of us, he got tired of sports guy Squire Barnes getting all the big name interviews (Iker, Watts etc) and turning them into mindless drivel.
