More chair moving at Global Morning News

Postby flyonthewall » Wed Jun 01, 2016 6:00 pm

At Global BC, Sonia Deol has moved from mornings to News Hour reporting and weekend anchor for the 6 and 11 p.m. editions. She began co-hosting Global Morning News last December. Randene Neill has moved to mornings with Steve Darling effective today.

Can't be a very happy show to be working on. Real news people (Sonia) hosting cooking and animal segments. Madryga being forced back to early mornings. I wish Randene the best of luck, but am guessing this wasn't her choice either.
Houston, We're dealing with morons!.

How many changes have to be made on that dinosaur of a show will it take for management to realize that maybe, just maybe the problem isn't the co-hosts?

Maybe now that CKNW and Global are once again in the same family it wouldn't surprise me a bit to tune in one day and see Global simulcasting The Yawn McComb Show much like CTV in Victoria does with the CFAX Morning Show. Just think of the savings Shaw would see. Then the shareholders would be happy.
