AFLAC Duck Lives On!

Nice to see the new voice of the AFLAC Duck go to a Sales Manager of two Minneapolis radio stations:

Meanwhile, the original duck voice Gilbert Gottfried is defending the Japanese disaster jokes on Twitter that got him fired, on any TV show that will have him.

AFLAC derives 75% of their worldwide revenues from Japan.

I thought the guy who voiced The Green Giant had a feathered nest. The "duck-gig" also qualifies.

I believe I will go unchallenged by suggesting "Insurance, like, to the consumer, is so, like - really boring?"

And yet, the larger brains at the top of the industry are wise enough to let their advertising agencies go absolutely ape-shit nuts.

Thus, gems like the AFLAC-duck, the Geico-gecko, Flo, the lovely and talented service-provider for Progressive and others.

There's a possible lesson here for we Radio-folk who are typing the hype and voicing the tripe, but perhaps that's a rant for another time and thread.
