09/02/07 - Originally released in 1972, Slumach's Gold: In Search of a Legend will be available later this month in an updated version enriched with new illustrations, interviews, and commentary. The book about 19th century gold in the Lost Creek area of Pitt Lake, B.C. was written by author Mary Trainer and brothers Brian and Rick Antonson. Brian Antonson is a long-time Vancouver broadcaster with positions at CKNW and at CFVR Abbotsford. He is currently Associate Dean, Broadcast and Media Communications at BCIT.

Not exactly pocket-book size. In fact, I'm not sure that the book would fit in the trunk of some small cars. Obviously, amazon doesn't offer free shipping on a book that size.
