THE BREEZE launches in Winnipeg

Despite earlier reports that had Evanov's CFJL 100.7 in Winnipeg launching as THE LOUNGE on Boxing Day, it turns out the station is actually branded as THE BREEZE. From the looks of things via the website the format appears to be Soft AC days and from 6PM to 9PM a program called THE LOUNGE features Adult Standards.

Wow ... looks like Russ Tyson and Lee Smith were quite visionary, and well ahead of their time when CHNR-FM operated as "The Breeze, 100.7 FM" .... the logo also bears a super-strong resemblance.

I look forward to checking them out tomorrow.
